Overview of eduroam development structure in GN4-3
- eduroam development and operations no longer separate: just one sub-task, DevOps
- sub-task leader: Miroslav Milinovic
- (other Trust and Identity services such as eduGAIN are the other sub-tasks)
- Activity Leaders: Licia Florio & Marina Adomeit
- budget… “modest”. There are a few named items for further development, but no significant reserves for “the next wild idea”
- in another part of the project, there is an “incubator” task for such wild ideas though
Topics covered in funded GN4-3 work
- DevOps style enhancements to existing tooling, incl. but not limited to
- eduroam Managed SP
- Completion of feature set for end-user diagnostics
- making use of eduroam DB v2
- making use of hardware probes at SP sites
- possibly making use of F-Ticks real-time data
- NRO audit procedures
- Wiki overhaul
- Standardisation organisation participation
